Liz & Jon at Eastern Market

You know an engagement session is going to go well when a few minutes into it you and the couple are narrating the session in your best Werner Herzog voice. We had a few too many laughs shooting this session, and I’m excited to reunite with Liz & Jon next year in Ohio for their wedding.

We did a little bit of exploring around Eastern Market in Detroit for their engagement session, which is one of my favorite places to shoot. The city is changing all the time and Eastern Market is one of those places where you can really see it. Every time I head down there there’s a new mural or a new restaurant. It’s the reason I love the place. You never know exactly what you’re going to get.
