Ali and Marc. A wedding at home.
6 hours. 6 hours was all the time I got to spend with Ali and Marc on their wedding day. In those 6 hours I witnessed the awesome love they have for one another and the love that their families have for them. I witnessed Marc’s mother beam with pride whenever she looked at her son and daughter in law. I witnessed Ali’s father, as he teared up at the altar, sharing words of wisdom with his daughter. I witnessed Marc stealing glances of Ali as they sat side my side during the ceremony, and later at dinner. And, lets not forget, I witnessed their adorable dogs participating in their wedding day (and even dutifully watching the ceremony from the screened in porch). To put it simply, I witnessed a lot of love in those 6 hours. Ali and Marc, thank you so much for allowing me and my camera to be your witness.
PS: Pay special attention to the dogs throughout the day. Lola (the little Yorkie) led me upstairs to Ali when I was looking for her. Sam and Lola watched the ceremony from the screened in porch (Lola even gave a speech), and while I don’t normally include family formals in my blog posts, you have to love a family formal that has dogs milling around the subject’s feet.
