Whitney and Elliot’s wedding in Northern Michigan was a perfect reflection of the two of them as people: sincere, beautiful, fun, and vegetarian. Their lakefront ceremony at Tapawingo was complete with gorgeous weather, a big blue Michigan sky, and a ring bearer who was confused by what the priest was wearing. Guests danced well into the night and Whitney gave the best rendition of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” that I have ever seen performed, despite the fact that it was August and almost 80 degrees outside.

I know I say it about basically every couple, but there two are amazingly sweet and kind people, and I feel lucky to have been a part of this day.
